Service Projects and Volunteers.

Become an active QCS member and volunteer to help with one of our service projects!

Photo: Seniors appreciate learning what the Internet and E-mail are all about. They are amazed by "Google" searches, maps and satellite imagery, and finding their hometown newspapers on line.
.

Email Judi if you are interested in helping with our service projects in Rock Island, Moline, East Moline or Davenport.

Other ideas for volunteer projects will also be considered by QCS. Let us know if you have other suggestions!

.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Some of our members have volunteered time at area senior centers and assisted living facilities. They help residents learn basic computer skills, send and receive e-mail, and even help set up computer stations.

You don't need advanced computer skills for many of the positions and it is a rewarding experience!

There are locations on both sides of the river that need volunteers. Are you willing to help us make a difference?

A QCS volunteer set up this simple web site for Amber Ridge Assisted Living residents:

http://geocities.com/amberridge123

It allows the residents to share their activities and photos with friends and family.
